About the Pumpkin Festival
Taking place in the scenic countryside town of Heidelberg Western Cape, just 275 km from Cape Town, The Giant Pumpkin Festival is a popular calendar event in the Hessequa region.
Dates TBC – the Golf day will take place at the lovely Heidelberg Golfclub. The Festival itself kicks off on Dates TBC – at the Heidelberg Showgrounds.
On Dates TBC – the festival continues.
Additionally, there is a 4X4- and Bowls competition Saturday morning.
The festival is greatly anticipated and well known artists will be joining us. For the children we have awesome entertainment.
There are big prizes up for grabs at the Giant Pumpkin Festival, the biggest pumpkin will win R17,500. If the South African record is broken, you will win R30,000.

About Heidelberg, WC
Heidelberg is a town in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is located near South Africa’s south coast, on the N2 highway, 274 km east of Cape Town (about halfway between Cape Town and Knysna).
